Duncan Macintosh

Duncan is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He is a consultant providing specialist advice on Private Equity and Venture Capital.
His experience includes acting for a range of private equity houses on investments and portfolio management issues; management teams in Buy Out and Buy In transactions, as well as on exits; private equity funded businesses in their buy and build strategies; and privately owned companies in acquiring private equity growth capital.
Duncan is the co-founder of Merchant Ventures Investments Ltd, merged with Merlin Biosciences to form Excalibur Group, the private equity fund management and structured finance business based in London. He was partner in, and latterly head of, the Corporate Team at Morgan Cole, Solicitors, Wales London and the Thames Valley. He was also a Senior Legal Adviser with 3i Group plc, in Birmingham and London. He is currently Partner in, and head of the Corporate and Commercial Team at Capital Law LLP, London and Cardiff.
